The Android tablet plays a central role in managing operations and viewing SOL-X dashboard data. In some cases, you may encounter technical issues that interrupt usage. Here’s how to troubleshoot the most common tablet problems effectively.
Tablet Freezing – Not Turning On or Off
Sometimes the tablet may freeze or stop responding entirely. Here's what you can do:
Try Refreshing the Screen
Pull down on the screen to refresh the application window. This may resolve minor app-related lags.Perform a Full Reset
If the application is still unresponsive, press and hold both the Power and Lock buttons simultaneously for 8 seconds. This will force a hard reset of the device and bring it back to operational status.
Touchscreen Isn’t Responding
If you find the touchscreen unresponsive, assess the following:
Physical Damage
If the tablet was dropped and the screen is visibly cracked, the device may need replacement. Please reach out to the SOL-X Solution support team for further assistance.Power Issue
If the screen isn’t physically damaged, a drained battery could be the culprit. Plug the tablet in and allow it to charge for a while. Once adequately powered, the touchscreen should begin working again.
Troubleshooting Wi-Fi Connectivity
Wi-Fi issues are among the most common reasons for dashboard data not syncing properly. Try the following steps:
Check Wi-Fi Connection
Ensure your tablet is connected to an active Wi-Fi network. If it’s not, this may be the root of the problem.Use Airplane Mode to Reset
If you can’t connect to Wi-Fi, toggle Airplane Mode on for 30 to 60 seconds. Then turn it off and try reconnecting. This resets the Wi-Fi connection without restarting the tablet entirely.
